I spoke to Alex at Wembley, then just before Cov game, IMHO he was never satisfied with his lot.
Although he talked the talked, he was never gonna move up here.
If my info is correct, and I think it is, he cleared his renred house on Monday pm.
I understand they made a verbal deal even before the Stoke match.
I will try to find out more info asap

but how could they know that his agent didn’t offer him to Burnley? As soon as Burnley said no his agent would deny he ever tried

to be clear I’m not denying you have good contacts - you very clearly do. I’m just questioning how they would even know the truth. Nobody will know other than Neil’s agent and whoever he called (if it happened)
