    That last bit is way off.
    He was on 7k p week, it went up to 12k p week he wanted 20k they offered 15k, Stoke are paying him 24k p week that's true

    Saw this the other day, £24k a week pretty much puts AN on a bottom end PL salary if list is to be believed. That means Stoke are definitely paying over the odds. Our offer of 15k a week is £780k/y without bonuses seems reasonable in this context.

    You'd think so but no, it's just that certain things stick in yer mind.

    I posted a while back about JDT and how people were automatically assuming someone young, foreign and wholesome would have radial new ideas about football. That can happen but this dinosaur/visionary thing is a bit daft imo. Whenever someone's in the shyte they turn to dinosaurs like Warnock, Allardyce, Dyche, etc because they know football, outside the top six, is generally a simple game played simply by simple players.

    This thread is hilarious, looking back, I dread to think what bollocks I came out with <doh>
