It’s definitely a meh

But…

  • his style of play isn’t that bad. He’s much more progressive than his personality suggests
  • He’s great with youngsters
  • He’s experienced and will help us solidify at this level
  • There’s a reason Alex Neil had to drop to League One to find employment but Tony Mowbray didnt

He does have a very good reputation when working with young players.

I’m trying to remain positive but it’s such a Sunderland appointment.

I’ll welcome him and support him but go for the dynamic choice not the safe choice.

This could be Speakman’s last act.

What a terrible terrible few days our club has has

lose Neil
lose to Norwich
lose two signings
Bringing in a Dinosaur

No ambition show again, pathetic

Not a Charismatic choice but in footballing terms certainly not a dinosaur
Known for playing pressing attacking football and bringing through youth players
(Blackburn had youngest team in Championship)
Fans of clubs he has managed seem to like and respect him.
Loads of experience with promotions under his belt. Including winning the Championship.

We have been in the wilderness for the last 4 years this is another building block.
As I have said before given where we were in league 3 I will be very happy with a strong
youthfull team playing good football.

Every manager is a gamble but for god sake let the lad get in the door and see what he's made of before
writing him off.

if it is mowbray then i give him the same backing as any other manager and what we the fans feel will rarely be taken into account anyway, he 'knows his oniens' so to speak it's just a shame we do not look like adding to the squad right now as we could use the extra bodies and a bit more experience in there.

Just be honest, nobody would have him as manager out of choice. Its a woeful appointment if it happens,
Smacks of a lack of ambition and cheapness our club is an absolute joke imo.
May aswell of kept Donald & Charlie in charge for the difference KLD has made.
Should of known as soon as he took his blooming dog to the match!
