You said it was done last time and he was on his way. Now you say we sent two pissed up blokes to interview him in a airport?

I know nowt about any manager if I'm honest, whoever it is I'll judge then while here not on what they have done before.
no what i said was we had agreed a deal with Derek, but Ellis the lazy twat was in his castle in Scotland at the time but sent them 2 to interview him, the rest is history.

he was at the AOL ON SAT MORNING with Kyril, what more should we look at. IMHO i think its a done deal.
he aint right for us IMO
How long does it take to hire an out of work gaffer though? The longer it drags on the less likely itll be him. Someone said hes been to.all our games.

Why would Speakman listen to a fan putting a name to him ? If he asked a load of fans he would get a load of different answers

1, because i know Speakman very well.
2 because i know Derek very well
3 i know Kyril very well
4. i do work with and for the club.
owt else, oh and im mates with the 3 amigos, and hated for that, but hey ho who gives a flying F.
Mogga has been to our home games, the reason i think he will get the job is his ex partner in footy Mr S Harvey Blackburn connection.

took stoke two days to announce Neil from us despite all being agreed.

It might be we've agreed with Mowbray but are now negotiating with his assistant (who was Mark Venus at Blackburn)

Defo the tea lady. Can't think of anyone else who would all of those people.

I get the feeling Stoke were negotiating/approaching Neil as soon as we beat Stoke.

almost certainly - maybe even before. If Neil signed that contract 4 weeks ago but already knew it wasn't enough and it pissed him off, chances are his agent has been hawking around all championship clubs saying he's available if you want him.

I doubt it was his desire to go to Stoke, it was probably just a case of the first championship job to come up that was willing to pay him more. And Stoke knew it was too good an opportunity for them to miss so sacked their manager crazy early to take it.

Our win over them may well have convinced the board to pull the trigger, if they were impressed with how we set up etc.

What does Speakman think of you calling him a liar Bob?

to be fair to Roker Report, they weren't saying that Mowbray was likely as in they were trying to report that as news or being ITK. They were saying he looks likely because of what the other outlets are all saying, the odds etc.

People seem to misconstrue EVERYTHING they say as them trying to be ITK. They've made tonnes of mistakes in that regard but this wasn't them trying to report any sort of news, just comment on what they're seeing
