I only predict a game at a time cos you're only as good as your last match.. plus we've had an international break so both City & Brighton have had long rests.. for me it's who gets out of the traps the quickest on saturday.. a point will be good at the Amex.
It's best to take it a game at a time, we don't know what Forest's situation will be by the time we go there and the type of form Derby and Southampton will be in. Given our form we should be confident going into these games, but we need to start by getting a positive result at Brighton. On the face of things something from 12 points onwards would be a decent return, i'd say we'd be on target for the play offs with around 30 points at the end of November.
ffs 10 games in and your all playing the bbc predictor game.it's crap at the end of the season.it's just desperate 10 games in
Yeah, it's Doveston for Christ's sake. He's a complete f*cking numpty. Well, he might be disabled, but hey-ho.
Brighton a 2-1 defeat. Watford will be a 1-0. Forest you can toss a coin and have a better chance of getting the result right since we don't know how they'll be set up. Barnsley draw. West Ham will beat us. Derby I think we'll win. Burnley and Southampton draws. That's 9 points plus the Forest game.
I don't want to sound like Doveston but this is a bit pointless, you feel you should be 'realistic' and put plenty of draws and losses in there so you don't seem silly but really you just want to put win, win, win. After all, there'd be no point being a fan if you went to every game just hoping not to get beat.
No but if your predictions were as 'realistic' as Percy or Erik's, life as a City fan would become a bit tedious.
Swings and roundabouts. If you go expecting a good result every game you enjoy the start of the day and the football surprises you it can ruin your night by putting you in a mood. If you go expecting a bad result every game the football can only surprise you in a good way so you'll enjoy more of the nights and journeys home. Just looking at my post being quoted there, it's reminding me of a comedy, possibly Blackadder when they're captured by the Germans (maybe the Spanish Inquisition). One of them asks when they can hope to be released and the captor replies that they can hope whenever they like.
The only place known on earth to get pie fillings to extreme temperatures. Great for keeping your hands warm in the winter though!
