All jokes aside I'm really worried about this one especially if we don't add some decent attacking threat in January. As much as I want to us to destroy them I would be happy with a draw now.

Also I would really like Colo back this one - I can't believe he is most likely to going to miss another Derby. If Pardew goes with Taylor at the back we will lose.

I don't mind smug, but he crossed the line with a couple of comments lat night. Drink might have had a bit to do with it. God knows I've been there before. Usually on a Sunday night, so anything I say tonight cannot be held against me.

<laugh>. If only that were a legally valid excuse at all times. <ok> Rep!

A few things that highlights what Adam Johnson is like in today's rags.

1) in a few papers suggest he thinks he could be in with a shout for the world cup ( my arse)

2) Johnson linked With a move away to fellow strugglers Fulham and another below average team

Good grief. How far under your skin has smug got?

Anyway, we seem to be in the rather odd position of having to cheer each other on many weekends. Next week we have Southampton and you have West Ham. Wins for both of us would be handy for the other and since we're at opposite ends of the table, that looks likely to continue for a while. Very strange.

The obvious exception is the derby. **** knows how that one's going to go, as form is no guideline and recent history contradicts all the evidence of the table. Like most, I'd take a draw right now, but a few decent moves in the transfer market might change the odds a bit.

I'm with Sombrero when it comes to Smug. I like the way he livens up the debate. He does cross the line sometimes, but the forum needs that IMO. If all we had was people competing for the Legolas Award** then it would be a dull place indeed. As for the derby I'd happily take a point at the min. Fed up of you lot defying your crapness and beating us!

**Legolas - an expert in stating the bleeding obvious without saying anything interesting!
