Expect City to line up

We've really not played well all season away from home but just keep managing to get away with it of late,similar to the COC win at st James Pk in October where Newcastle really should have won it in the 90 mins until tiredness in extra time told and we ended up going through. Funny being on this long winning streak against Newcastle,we hardly ever won at st James prior to all 6 numbers,the pools and spot the ball coming in at once
Newcastle were pretty poor up at the Etihad at the start of the season but have since shown that performance to be an anomaly and I expect a really tough close game
The town wall pub is the chosen pre match drinking hole on Sunday so will have to be up before God to get there
before the hoards arrive

I can only see a defeat for this one. The only question is by how much?

We'll probably have one of those games where we go 2 down, have a man sent off, concede 2 more, see at least one player limp off in the last ten minutes after we've already used all our subs and then concede 2 more late goals to round it all off.

That's my starting expectation, so anything better is a positive. <ok>

It's my way of preparing for the worst, so that even a narrow defeat (if the lads have tried hard) feels like a positive. If we actually get a result then I'll go bonkers.

Graham Carr's Binoculars will not be pleased at all with this negativity and defeatism we are pouring out.

He needs to come on and balance it out with some "There is no reason we cannot get a result out of this one........................." <laugh>
