The club have brought in Ben Sturner of Leverage Agency to broker a naming rights deal, and the club had a presence at the International CES in Las Vegas last week looking to entice potential naming rightsees - which also makes it clear the club's looking to have a tech firm sponsor the stadium

If you can stomach corporatespeak, he goes into something which could be construed as detail in the following link (timestamped so you don't have to hear 20+ minutes of unrelated waffle)

Is the one tier stand working with regards to the desired atmosphere?

Granted it’s TV but I’m still not Impressed with the atmosphere at the new Lane.

Nope. It’s pretty tragic mate. I sit in a good part of it as all the people around me enjoy a chant but in general it’s just quiet. Nothing like the old girl, that had a proper atmosphere.

I just looked up tickets for the wolves match ... there are ticket exchange ones available at £64 and a few at £96 on the wall but none have concession prices so for me and the teenbeast to go and watch from the wall would be an eye watering £128 plus £3 in booking fees. £131 ... for all three of us it would be £196.50 <yikes>.
At the other end of the ground the cheapest I could see was £54 plus booking fees per ticket...that would be £148 plus booking fees for the 3 of us (their were concession prices for young adults there).
This is a category b match remember!

I suspect this ticket pricing is killing the atmosphere.

Times are tough for lots of people and those prices are simply unaffordable to many.

ENIC/Levy <ok>

Zero interest in what is good for the team...don’t want to hear anyone calling him a footballing man just because he’s a Spurs fan and watched us when he was a kid etc etc

They are a ****in noose around our progress as a football team

It really is extortionate mate. I’ve made no secret I’m not happy paying what I am for my ST and won’t be paying much more if they decide to up it.

At WHL it was just under £800 (I think £780 IIRC) which was expensive enough but I was “ok” with it. I’m now paying £995 at NWHL for essentially the equivalent seat I had at the old girl, so over £200 more. Yeah the ground is lovely but it’s still a 90 minute football match.

Not that I have any faith in them whatsoever but I’d like to think the THST will continue battling to get prices dropped because otherwise more and more proper fans are going to be out-priced and the ground is going to be even more soulless than it already is.
