Spurs Marketing Director, Matthew Collecott, a.k.a. Matilda Collywobbles, has seemingly indicated that there are now 3 runners and riders for the naming rights on the stadium. That's 3 more than the 0 that some clubs were able to amass. <laugh> <whistle>

KFC are so desperate to win the prize that they
did not buy a single chicken in the UK yesterday
in order to use the money in their bid kitty.

Apparently many KFC's have had to close because of a shortage of chickens. Try pigeons!!!!?

Over the weekend the story was the lack of chips, which later turned to a lack of chicken.

So here's my question: do they have any boxes? Because wouldn't it be typical if they got the chicken and the chips, but couldn't actually sell them due to it being frowned upon to place scalding-hot food directly into the customers' hands?

My fish shop owner (Charlie at 462 Lordship Lane,N.17) paid us for all the newspapers we gave him! Not much, but we were kids and we did like sweets too!!!!

Opposite was a bakery (Fred Hill's). Mum sent me over there for stale cakes for tea. .....and now it's 2018. We're all wealthy now....aren't we????!

Oh no! Actually,I think it improved the taste!!!!! ( Mum used to say " you do have dirty habits Dennis!")

Just been reading that spurs may have to play their first few league games away from the nwhl if the predicted weather from siberia causes delays to the roof going on.don't know if it's true yet but will give the hacks something else to have a dig at spurs again .At least they will be talking bo**ocks about the stadium rather than what players are leaving <laugh>

There was a THST meeting this week. Daniel Levy was likely to have been there, so the minutes, when agreed, should tell us where we are. Anything else is pure speculation, worthless and likely to get the publication in trouble with the club, if reported as fact.

Putting the pieces together ...

1. Apparently PL clubs have an imminent deadline to
state when they are ready to play home games next
season (to start the fixture scheduling process ?? ) .

2. The "weather" stuff I assume is more to do with a
bout of gale force winds or frozen ice on all the hoist
cabling etc during the roof raise, then a bit of a
cold snap.

So #2 will determine #1, and given weather forecasts
for the UK are at best accurate only 5 days out, that
will require some prescience over the next 5 weeks.

There was a THST meeting this week.

Tuesday.

"NEXT MEETING WITH THE BOARD OF THFC – 20 February
Following the postponement of the scheduled Board to Board meeting in May, we are now due to meet with the Executive Board of Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday 20 February. As always, we’ll be asking for your questions in advance of the meeting. We’ll open that up formally on Monday 5 February.

We try to focus on the bigger, strategic and financial issues in these sessions rather than the day to day, tactical ones so, depending on the nature of your question, it may be addressed in the meeting or be taken away and followed up on afterwards.

Headline topics will be the stadium build progress and related infrastructure, migration from Wembley into the new ground and ticketing for next season – both process and pricing.

As ever, we’ll endeavour to release a full report of the meeting within 72 hours."

Meeting report may be available over the weekend.

How can 1 be true when we don't even know what clubs will be in the PL. I wouldn't send the memo to WBA, but you never know.
