Exactly my point. Every term has to get past the lawyers and if not it goes back and forth until it's right.

Big sales can be lock ins, where you don't leave the room for hours until it's done.

But... That stage is the last bit and it means we are close.

The SMC and Hull City are being sold together, so any inter-company debt is irrelevant, these were the last of the external debts and they've now been cleared.

Sat in London since Monday signing contracts, determining terms and writing of all the debts.

Baring in mind the fit persons act with the FA hasn't been passed yet/
 
Might be a daft question but does the fit and proper persons test have to be passed by the FA before a sale can be announced?

Wasn't Tony Xia and his consortium's deal to buy Villa announced before he'd passed the test?

I can't see the FA taking too long mulling over this decision, with what they know of our current owners.

How will the Allams scupper this deal right at the death? I'll go with they'll demand a commission on any player sold in the next 5 years who was brought to the club with Allam money.

I'm sure you'll do better than me, and funnier...

They accept a £12mil offer for Hernandez and pocket the cash before signing off and the Buyers lose their **** over it.
