The PA system in the East stand hasn't worked for the last few games, over a month at least, and that's surely a very fundamental safety issue because we'd have no idea if the stadium was being evacuated.
I'd have thought if you notice the West Stand getting out in a very fast manner there's summat wrong.

And utterly irrelevant. And brought out as an easy shot against me when needed.
Look pal if you argue about the state of the stadium of the club I support, and I know you do, even though you haven't been inside it yourself for three years, then expect a response. It's not personal it's called debate. I happen to know a lot people put a ,lot of work in to make a match day at City an enjoyable occasion. All the good work gets ignored and toilet training the pigeons is more difficult then people think.

I thought you were better then that Ben.

I thought you were to be honest. It really was a low hit that stunk of self appreciating superiority.

You really need to drop your “in the olden days” attitude & maybe try to understand that having your face painted & cleaning **** are two completely different things that can both be achieved.

It’s not up to the “irrelevant” customer to clean their seat when they’ve paid for it. The Allams burnt those bridges a long time ago. It has been an issue for over two years & it’s not unreasonable to ask for it to be rectified.

If you ordered an uber & the seats were covered in the last passengers puke would you clean it yourself? Course you wouldn’t, you’d expect the person you’d paid your fair to to provide a clean seat.

From my POV I’d use the **** as an excuse not to sit down when asked to by a steward or whiny old ****.

The Allams are ****s.

That's another thing often mentioned in the supporters meetings minutes. Another thing being looked into.

I remember it being a complaint years ago, that the PA in the East stand didn't work for a long period. This would've been in the Pearson or Duffen days. Supporters meetings then used to discuss it and the club at one point reckoned they'd fixed it only to find that on matchday with people inside it was still inaudible. I guess it isn't an easy fix but there'd presumably be real trouble if they couldn't communicate an important safety announcement to one side of the ground so it does need sorting.

They're either announcing the takeover is done or they've got the contract for a new roof <cheers>

Bizarrely, they bought a new (quite expensive) PA system, but didn't replace the speakers, so it sounded just as bad as the old PA system.

I remember watching City play Coventry at the Ricoh Arena not long after it opened. The PA system was so bad it was impossible to understand anything that was being said (a loud mumbling noise coming out of the speakers). I wrote to Coventry & said this was a fire hazard & they need to fix it ASAP. I never got a reply back!!!!
