The SMC is the bit that should be making money, It was given a brand new stadium ( I know not to the Allams ) with only the upkeep to pay. A football club and a rugby club as tenants who should have been made to pay the going rate for rent. The potential to hold other events within the stadium, smaller events in the back rooms and then there is the Airco arena.

Yet Pearson couldn't make a profit from external events when it was brand new and now there's getting on for 20 years maintenance required....

Which Pearson wants the football club to pay for.

The SMC pretty much broke even when AP ran it, it's only been under the Allams that it's made big losses and he wants the SMC to pay to maintain it, as that's primarily what the SMC is there for and it's what it did when he ran it.

But didn’t one of the other prospective sales fall through after the Allams asked for extra dosh for the SMC at the last moment?

That never got to the point where heads of terms were agreed and Grieve never even showed proof of funds. Nor did he buy another club.

They Yongges deal is the only one that's got to this stage, and was rejected by the premier league after the Allams had cleared their desks.

When it was brand new, yeah.

So it broke even at best when new. Where does the revenue come from to maintain it?

Or did Pearson know he was always going to flip the club in the Championship so it didn't really matter?

Without new owners and new investment we are headed back into the football basement. We need this change to inject some verve, excitement and passion back into the club, both for the diehard supporter, returnees and new fans. Lets see it happen!
And if the new owners don’t invest much? fans leave?

Don't eat kebabs miss patties a lot i bought 40 for freezer when i went to hull for day to buy them and now i have eaten the lot and ran out,so either another trip to get them or figure another way.

They run the SMC as a loss making concern as it makes sense from a tax point of view for Allam Group.

Yes and no.

Any losses in any business they can offset the tax on.

Makes no difference to Allamhouse tax bill whether that's City or the SMC.

Obviously that only offsets some of the losses and is no substitute for running a business at a profit, so if its run at a loss, they still lose money.
