It's all of his part time jobs - taxi driver for the local celebs, part time bar keep at the local snooker hall and bingo caller extraordaire... Mrs Acun III can't resist his 'risqué' bingo calls and after a few Lambruscos let's all the 'secrets' out...

How do you know? Is it that easy to have an improved team given how many players left?
The team might be better or worse.
The manager might be better or worse.
There's too many factors for anybody to easily say where the fault lies.

I'll be very surprised is the club intentionally recruit a team to be worse.

I have not said the team will be better, that will a tough challenge.

They will be trying though. Or do you think,they won't?

Very strange post.
You somehow seem to think I thought the club would try to recruit players to be worse.
I quite clearly set out it wont be easy to get a better squad considering how many players they lost at the end of the season.

You've been replying based on things you think I believe not on what I've posted.

FWIW I agree with your last sentence.

However, rightly or wrongly Walters performance next season will be compared to last seasons performance. Regardless of the recruitment. That's football.

I hope the new manager smashes it. I hope the recruitment team smash it. I hope the squad smashes it.

Was a slow tv night so watched one of Hamburgs games from earlier in the season when Walter was in charge to see what we might expect.

Even if you watch the first 15 minutes, you can see similarities with Rosies style but also the key differences. The players are expected to be more fluid in terms of the positions on the field they occupy and it does seem to result in getting in far more promising positions further up the pitch.

Two great little clips on how Tim Walter likes his teams to play out from the back and get the ball forward quickly.

This was the main problem with Liams style for me, not enough work done on what to do when the back 4 have the ball. Whereas in the clips, there's lots of player movement but its not random, its to create space or for dragging the opposition away from an area and then exploiting it.

Im looking forward to seeing this style of football at home games this season.

Could be on my own here but currently looking forward to next season. New manager inbound and one who likes to attack apparently so that should appease a few and no doubt have the Big Turk licking his lips. Don’t have a clue who we’ll sign or lose but in a league where everyone beats each other every now and again it’ll be interesting to see how we do and how long it takes Tim the Eric to be given the keys to the City or like Roseinior run out of town by the big bad Sheriff.

There definitely will be. But why shouldn't there be? We've had it absolutely rammed down our throats how boring and negative LR was and how much better off we'd be without him. Acun has made the huge decision to listen to the people saying that and make the change. A huge change we didn't have to make. Why should people be expected to keep quiet if it turns out to be a bad decision? **** that. If this backfires as I think it might well do, no chance I'm going to stay quiet about it. I wasn't calling for this, I think the people who did were wrong and Acun was wrong for listening to them. If it comes off and we're better than last season then I'll hold my hands up.
