Grrrr bloody transfers getting in the way of buildings....so basically you're saying he shouldn't have bought anyone (the money we've wasted on transfer fees, agents fees and wages) and built a training ground for no one to train in as he didn't buy anyone?
We didn't have to go full-on high-risk though. My gripe is that in his first full season the wage bill rose massively (87% I believe), but actually, the quality on the pitch didn't. We were a little better, but a lot of the signings were either unfit, injured or useless and we wasted a lot of money and we had the KLP income too.
We're 2 years on and we've still not replaced the bite from Smallwood and Honeyman or the leadership from those two and Magennis.
