there was a newspaper link suggesting we're interested in hearts striker lawrence shankland. i went to youtube to find a video of his goals and found the number of penalties he scored a bit on the high side. i've since been through his hearts career to see whether that was typical.

in 2022-23 he scored 28 goals including 12 penalties. have we ever had 12 penalties in a season? i doubt it.

this season he has scored 32 including a more reasonable 5 penalties.

in the past, he scored 63 goals in 2 seasons at ayr and 40 in 2 seasons at dundee united.

he has played and scored for scotland.

-> How do posts on this forum "help" the cause? Because you certainly haven't helped it all season in that case.
There's some who are posting absolute bollox, misrepresenting our owner and the way the club is run. That's really not helpful, and imo is a dangerous game to start playing (even more so when it risks undermining one of the best owners in many ways we've ever had (that's NOT saying he isn't beyond critiscism and questioning, but spouting what is blatantly bollox is not criticising nor questionning).
I see a big difference between posting opinions on how a player or the manager is performing v's spreading bollox about the owner and how the club is run.

-> ..., just that he's comfortable going ahead with signings without the manager's agreement
It's been said many times, by several from the club, that the manager has his say. Comments included that he even has the final say.

Again, please just stop it!

I see no difference between spreading bollox about the players, spreading bollox about the manager or spreading bollox about the owner and you’ve certainly no issue with the amount of bollox spreading previously.

Big difference between posting an opinion (about a player, manager, performance, owner) versus making up bollox about how the club is run. Surely that isn't hard to understand.

Not really no.

Opinions are just opinions yours are yours mine are mine. Don't tell me mine and I won't tell you yours.

(EDIT: I don't mean don't share them I meant don't tell me what mine should be and I won't tell you what yours should be)
