Pardo is not a manager

He isn’t, but he is a UEFA A licence qualified coach and has been assistant manager to Emre while in Turkey. He is clear to manage in the Championship, would need a pro licence to manage in the Premier League.

Basically, he could if he wanted to. I’m not sure he will, but for those that don’t know, he’s incredibly knowledgeable and tactically a bit of a whizzkid. He apparently spends hours scrutinising footage outside of work hours, bloke is a bit of a work freak.

I “liked” that post and actually i really like it. I am a big fan of data analysis not just in football but in all walks of life including our own. You can’t argue with data no matter what Disraeli said-the data sets you free

Disraeli didn’t say anything about data.<laugh>

Well, he's probably referring to "lies, damned lies and statistics", which Disraeli absolutely did say. Stats and data aren't the same if you're being precise, but when discussing football on a forum, semantically I'm sure you can get away with it.

I am quite awar of what Disraeli said.

Good, so you understand the point he was making then.

Understand it. Doesn’t mean I agree with it.

Disraeli was debunking one part of the components which make up data, Though the meaning and application of the word data has changed over the years.

Well lies only make up part of the data if you are making an analysis of lies or a set of data associated with lies

Slightly on topic I always thought Wenger looked for players with a low centre of gravity , minimum height , weight , running gait , , speed etc , strong hips - all to be able to keep a ball , fight for a ball and be balanced enough to change direction easily - along with the other skills needed . It stops your team looking like a pub team and being inconsistent - I’m sure you will all now list the exceptions - but it’s a basis for reasonable quality - like STATISTICS

You're saying he's not a fan of data analysis? Or that Beri Pardo isn't? Or that you can't argue with it?
You can’t argue with data but you can with the methods it was collected with.
And it seems clear Beri Pardo is a big fan of data analysis.
