I thought the great man said he would be transparent with his new family. I can understand some things need to be kept under wraps, but snippets of information now and then would be useful. The troops are restless. This is how revolutions start.

Long live the dream!

The circumstances around the Shota sacking seemed a lot like the issue was him not wanting to play a back four. We'd played back 3 for weeks while Shota insisted we didn't have the players for a back 4. Then suddenly at Swansea we played a 4 and brought in Vale out of nowhere, we played even worse than we had been doing and soon afterwards it was agreed that Acun and Shota were no longer aligned in their thinking.

Wouldn't be terribly surprised if the issue with new managers is them being told they must play a back four because Acun thinks it's more attacking.

And to be fair if it is about a back 4, it's the same as what most on here were demanding too.
It is being made more bizarre by Shota liking some of Acun's posts on social media. Clearly not much of a fall out, just one bloke refusing to damage his reputation by doing what he is told as opposed to what he believes to be right?

Unless he is doing that stalker thing as if to say 'yeah I'm watching you pal'

I'd be more than happy with a Team who could hold their own on a Football pitch, irrespective of who owned us.

If you're referring to me as having a short memory, provide me with an example?

I’m not specifically referring to you but some of the over the top reaction to our new owner.

There used to be plenty of people saying they’d rather play in League 2 under a new owner than in the Championship with the Allams.

We’re on a poor run and it needs to be addressed. Don’t think we need a new owner to achieve this.

Yup, seems to already have signings lined up for Jan which Martins didn't want. I'm getting worried about who we will end up with.

But this is all coming from Karen on Facebook.

It makes sense for Tan and Acun to identity January targets, especially a defensive midfielder. I’d expect the new manager to have an input into this also.

Will support whoever the guy in charge is but if we go from close to Pedro to Avram Grant I think I may lose the plot!!

Unless Acun starts to take a back seat more and leave the coaching/management to the people that know what they are doing we are going to struggle to attract anyone. That's the reason it's broken down twice now ( acun wanting to much say on footballing matters )

I agree, he needs to realise that to be successful the manager/coach needs to the building of a team. Yes, he can help if asked, but as you say he needs to learn from his mistakes and take a back seat.
