Did I dream this or was there a link between Tan Kesler and Chris Wilder during the takeover? Apologies if this has been stated already but I’m not reading 20 pages…

That's correct in theory and all major bookmakers generally make on any event. The exception to the rule being on-course bookmakers, they'll usually have one or two on the book that will take more out than they've taken in.

It's all computerised nowadays and they'll generally have a horse in the 'red' section on their computer(it's quite fascinating to look at actually). They'll slash the odds on that horse and push the rest out to attract money on others, sometimes they'll lay the bet off with one of the big firms at fractionally higher odds.I've seen some on-course bookies going home wishing they hadn't bothered turning up that day.

Yes, you mean like Gary Wiltshire one memorable day at Ascot.

I think Acun’s in a position, where if he ****s up this appointment, we’re not only relegated, but his popularity will be out the window a lot quicker than the Allams, & that’s saying something.

I think this would be true if the appointment was seen to be another friend rather than someone experienced etc. Baz’s comment about Coreberan being interested but Acun not won’t have helped.

Am I missing something about Corberan, he hasn't had the most amazing record anywhere, pretty average at Hudds as well?

Sacked by Olympiacos after 11 games, W2 D6 L3

It'd be very shallow of us as a fanbase if that were the case.
It would be, but if he leads us down a road that puts us in deep **** financially & football wise, then it wouldn’t.
However, the Allams had their early wrath moment when they sacked Barmby, whilst I still don’t agree they did it in the right way, they ultimately brought in Steve Bruce.
So I’m hoping Acun has some clarity in his next appointment, & doesn’t get some random mate in.
I’m not bothered if it’s a Turkish guy or a nobody, as long as they have a clue what they’re doing & there’s no interference from Acun. I’m not saying there is at the moment, but his chasing transfers in the summer & his comments about the team do worry me.

Steve Cooper would be amazing, especially if he brings Pearce along with him to sort our defence.
