It all comes down to the uncertainty of players not sure who's doing what in certain situations - that's communication, organisation and understanding roles, responsibilities and what teammates need from eachother.

Of course I'd like to see a certain type of player being brought in to help the balance of the midfield - because I think that's also key, but you cant just sign a load of players and immediately expect them to gel into a team. It takes months. A bit like an orchestra takes months of rehearsal to play a decent tune.

I think Figs was brought in to dominate in the air but being asked to play out has dented his confidence - he's not that kind of defender. I haven't written him off just yet. He's proven he can cut it at this level if he's being asked to play in a way he's comfortable with.
Any good orchestra needs a good conductor Mc. That’s been our real problem

Looks like the new manager is a new 20 mil yacht . At least I am guessing this after seeing Acun is in Nice ? to look at the yacht ?
Just seen a picture on Facebook

Kind of, but the two you mention as definite misses are absolutely huge. Allahyar and Tetteh both work incredibly hard up and down the wings, which worked well with Oscar because he also worked hard and the three of them were really putting pressure on opposition players with their closing down and dynamism. Now that two of those three are missing, the replacements aren't stepping up. It's no surprise that since those two got injured, our attack has withered and Oscar is now barely scoring at all, looking isolated and feeding off scraps. Those three are higher level players, players who could play in the Premier League. Other teams might have the odd big player missing, but to a team like us, their absence is felt so much more because they were the crux of our attacking play. Getting them fit will be paramount to our success.

Traore would make a difference through the middle, but it's hard to say with him being out for so long whether he would have had an impact or not.

If I was Allahyar, I'd give the WC a miss and focus on getting fit. He's only 21, he's effectively got at least three other world cups he could play in if he keeps playing well at a good level and he isn't going to get picked if he isn't fit and playing. Has to think long term here, which is difficult at a young age.
A good friend of Allahyar’s works at our place, he told me a couple of weeks ago that Allahyar wouldn’t be able to go to the World Cup due to his injury.

Even the Turkish sources halve fine quiet, I’ve not seen any rumours on Twitter since the pedro deal went south.
Did Baz mention yesterday that acun had a preferred target….ht2 and st have either if you two got any info?
