Have I heard right that Acun told Humberside he wouldn’t consider Bruce because they put a poll and the majority said they wouldn’t want him back?

I agree with the verdict but doesn’t feel like that’s the right way to run the club.

Well we do pick pick the team here on 606 so it seems fair that we should also choose the manager. What could go wrong we have not made a mistake up to now.

Parker, Bielsa are still available. Somewhat left field, Michael O'Neill and Darren Ferguson both have experience at this level too - Ferguson's teams generally didn't play bad football. I suspect neither of the latter are "sexy" enough for Acun though.

Right now we just need someone in who can help the squad carve out a couple of clean sheets...

I wonder if they approached Bielsa and he turned them down. He has both Championship and PL experience.

Bielsa was on approx £5/6m a year at Leeds. It just isn't going to happen
 
In the Mike White interview he clearly stated that the chase for Pedro Martins was over.

He also made it plain that he does not get involved with team selection.

Plus seems there is no desire to go after Bruce.

It just feels like we're in limbo at present. It probably won't make any difference, as I think we have too many passengers who don't want to be here, but at least we'll know where we stand for the foreseeable once we get someone in permanently. Acun going about it this way is worrying. Just adds to the general feeling that he doesn't know what he's doing
