I don't see end product from Williams. Not to say he can't improve but I'd probably use Longman instead. He's due a notch.

Fair enough, but Longman has been proper ****. He's also missed two guilt edged chances and his confidence looks knackered. Very promising player, but really needs taking out of the firing line for the next game.

Fair assessment. Guess the confidence thing depends on the character of the player, but i don't think he's been that awful, just an easy target cos he's missed a couple of sitters and our fans tend need a villain to castigate whether that's a player, coach, owner or all of the above - whether entirely justified or not.

Confidence comes from a belief in your own ability.

Would explain a lot…

Allam’s GONE.

He's not a villain and I rate him very highly, but looking at his body language, he just doesn't look like he's living his best life at the moment.

Didn't Elder play in the defensive midfield role in L1? I seem to remember thinking he did ok... Just saying like...

He doesn't need to be Pirlo. He just needs to break up play and not be ****.

Back four of Coyle, Jones, Greaves and Fleming, two defensive midfielders sat in front in the shape of Elder and Christie- both big lads, good engines, not slow and can tackle, Seri or Tufan sat in the middle of the park flanked by Sinik on the left and Pelkas on the right with Estupinan up top.
Fixed it.
****ing easy this lark!

Worth saying that the only reason he had the chance to miss last weekend was because he moved and made a chance. The other forwards stood like statues.

Getting the impression Daws might be here for the next 3 games at least, given they happen within 7 days of each other. Be very interesting to see how we're all feeling after those if he won 2 or 3. And interesting to see how we play and set up on Sunday as he will have had an uninterrupted week to work with them.
Geting the impression that Acun quite likes the idea of Dawson as head coach (hope I am wrong) and if he gets a run of 2 out of 3 then he will get the job.

Fair play if he does.

Bif 'if' though. He'll have to lift the confidence of an entire squad, not just one or two players to achieve that.

Yeah well it’s not working with the supposed “tacklers” so time to get the actual footballers on the field instead.

Your opinion and you are welcome to express it. In my opinion playing both Seri and Tufan is a luxury we can't afford and opens us up to the opposition running rings round us in the middle of the park

We can't if we play like we have been doing, but that's not to say we don't have the capability, we've actually put together some decent moves this season, the issue has been doing it consistently.

The bigger problem is getting the ball in the first place. We have the lowest ball winning rate in the league because we just don't press. At all. We either wait for a turnover from a dead ball or we hope for a mistake, there's no actual tackling going on in the midfield.

Some of us made the obvious observation as early as pre-season that a lack of a ball-winning midfielder would bite us on the arse and we’d struggle. Lots on here sneered and thought Seri, Tufan and Slater would piss the division and physicality wasn’t necessary. Bet they feel daft as **** now.

How did Fulham do it last season with seri and from the brief times I saw them other gifted players??
Just asking
