Give the job to Andy Dawson. We know he'd love it and give us everything and the players seem keen to put in a good shift for him.

One thing that has been a constant on here, is people complaining about interviews from previous managers and I don't think anyone can argue that Daws is easily the best interviews we've had for years.

The performance on the pitch has dramatically improved, the results have been fantastic, the attendances and the atmosphere from the stands has been excellent.

What's not to like?
We are going to be top of the interview charts!
Seriously he does a great interview makes a lot of sense and gets his point across. Way better than Shota who spoke Martian English.

Roseiner is not qualified to be a manager. If dawson is going to be replaced by him it is a terrible discussion

roseiner at most should be dawsons assistant

How is he not qualified? He has his UEFA A License, no?

*edit looks like he has his pro license, so he's actually qualified to manage in the premier league.

He's no more qualified than Dawson as far as I know, and he's only been interim manager at a League One club, who then didn't keep him on. As opposed to Dawson, who is at the time of writing an interim head coach at a Championship club. Ours. Madness to replace Dawson at the moment, just as it was bonkers to replace McCann when we did. Give him a few more games.

Dawson has never even been an assistant in the championship before - Rosie has done well in that role in very difficult circumstances and Waugh hasn't done any better at Derby than Rosenior as interim. Rosie is no less qualified than Dawson and I'm sure there will have been discussions between Daws and the owners prior to any appointment. Daws may well end up with a promotion to assistant - maybe that's the way Daws wants to develop his own career?

Either way as long as Dawson sticks around I'm sure his time will come.

If that is the case -- and it's a big 'if' -- Tan and Acun should be saying they believe in him and want to keep him until at least the World Cup. Dawson and the coaches have hit upon a formula for success -- pairing Woods and Seri, bringing back Docherty, and dropping the league's leading scorer for Longman. They were all brave decisions, and so far they've worked brilliantly. Any new manager is going to want to change things again, unfortunately, just when everything is working nicely.

For all we know, Dawson has admitted he's not ready for the top job permanently?
For all we know, Dawson may have suggested Rosey for the job??
For all we know, the grand plan could be to have a "Dream Team" of Footballing Demi-Gods capable of marching through this division, being that good and getting asked to go directly into the Champions League next season AND represent England in the next world cup???

(OK fair enough- that third one may be a tad far fetched... There isnt a world cup next year...)

He is 38 years old with minimal experience
No thanks

im assuming the news is fake anyways or a misunderstanding. There were also rumours that beri pardo was going to be the manager and now hes dawsons assistant. Probably the same for roseiner

League One stats for a League One interim manager.

TWT. I'd reserve judgment until I'd seen us play for a couple games and what Daws has to say before dismissing it as a 'terrible decision'. The people making decisions at the club are better placed to do so being closer to the situation than any fan. I'm sure if Dawson really wanted it then he'd be making his case and it would surely be the cheapest option so I doubt they've just chucked his application (if he made one) in the bin.
