I will personally drive and hand-deliver Dean Holden for you. We know how much you like our old dross over in Cardiff
We might be needy but not absolutely not f**king desperate. Holden could be next for the chop. So thanks but we will respectfully decline your offer. Or to put it less delicately f**k off. No offence.
Unless there’s someone out there left field, most of the list is just predictable. I’d have hoped the board had someone in mind before today’s decision. My understanding is Choo & Dalman wanted rid some time back but Tan was the hold out but last nights limp display tipped him over the edge. For crying out loud City get it right this time.
Drake firs and gethin are nailed in for the job. Couldn’t take you any lower than you are now. To be fair not the most attractive job in the world. Can see you going for Newport’s manager
That would imply a level of decision making and planning that had sadly been lacking for the past 8 years at least
OK Bluey. Just saw this thread of yours and as suggested made it a sticky - but for how long will that need to be??....
OK, scroll right down the page and take your pick from this lot................... https://www.thesackrace.com/news/21...e-the-early-contenders-to-replace-neil-harris
Of the experienced managers, nothing really inspiring other than Howe who is unlikely to want to be here. With that in mind, might as well go for a younger manager showing promise in the lower leagues.
Actually there are a few left field / Interesting suggestions on the list but I'm not 100% convinced by any of them for varying reasons. Di Canio would certainly bring some interest
The Telegraph reckons City are on the verge of signing up McCarthy - and probably lined up a while ago.
