I thought Brighton looked head and shoulders the better team in the first half of the game i saw last night. If anything was to happen to brendan, I'd hope we'd be in there like a shot. But fair enough if you want this Portuguese dude; it's just that I think foreign managers need a season or two to adjust. And before you point out rafa won the CL in his first season, he also managed to get us ourlowest points in the Prem for years, and Mourinho walked in to a multi-billion squad and then spent some.

EDIT I know Poyet is foreign too, but he's acclimatised now.

In fairness mate Brighton should look the best side as he's had a massive budget in comparsion to his peers. I mean 3 of the back 5, are Bridge, Upson & Kuszak, all of whom will be on big money by that league's standards. Poyet has done a decent job & they play nice football, but I'm reserving judgement on him just yet tbh.

Most of the names we're being linked with are frighteningly awful imo, Mackay, Lennon <yikes> & Martinez are all not good enough to take EFC forwards post Moyes.

We need a manager who knows how to win & is capable of bringing something new to the club. Out of all the names linked Pereira is the only who fits that bill.

These Swansea supporters make me laugh, a couple of good seasons and their first ever attempt at the premiership and they think that they are some sort of big club?

They're ****ting themselves that a big club like ours is going to take their manager.

He's had 1 good season & they think he's Pep.

Wouldn't be the first time they've lost their 'one season wonder' manager to a scouse club <whistle>

Scousers giving it big, whats new! As we've donated enough managers to the Prem in recent years, you toffees can piss off, can't put it any plainer, have a nice day girls...............<ok>

Losing a good manager will always be tough but do any of you think that maybe fresh blood might do you good for next season, and any players you do lose would give the new manager a nice pot to get his type of players in. Anyway good luck for next season and i hope you get a good replacement.

I think It may well turn out not as bad as most wish/think tbh after all may sides lose their better players and Invest In a few more from the proceeds..
Why can't It apply to a manager??

Thanks for not posting drivel :emoticon-0150-hands

Got to admit, that was classy that, applauding Moyes. He deserves it - but obviously we couldn't do that for a manager or player going to the Scummers. <applause>

Hope he's begging to come back this time next year....:emoticon-0105-wink:

I hope Utd appreciate what a good manager Moyes is , he brings out the best of his players, uses their strengths effectively but with a lot more style and class than for example Pullis , I hope there's no danger of you having him <eek>.

I certainly will , whats it like ?

sorry silly question :emoticon-0148-yes:

6 league titles (Thats more than Man City, Chelsea and Newcastle)
2 FA Cups
49,000 State of the art, all seater stadium.
4th best Academy in Europe
Established premiership club

Swansea have no history and are a ****ty club from Wales having a few good years. It wont last , so enjoy it while you can.
