Gills fan in peace.

I think Alan Curbishley would be the ideal replacement for Moyes if you ask me. Will continue to help stabilise the club and from his time at Charlton you will know he's loyal. Also did well on a small budget and seriously helped develop players such as Darren Bent and Scott Parker before selling them to bigger teams. Nearly got Charlton in the Champions League too. Sensible choice if Everton are to keep the team stable. If not him then Di Matteo.

Curbishley hasn't had a job in 5 years, no ta.

Di Matteo was hated by the players at Chelsea, & wasn't much liked by those at WBA either, so not for me.

Apparently he'll only take a job in the premier league, which is a bit up his own arse.

I agree, he's a good manager. He should set his sights on the championship to get back into work.

Steve Bruce would fit right in nicely, would continue the same footy philosophy too, got to be a good shout!.......................

Don't worry Big Bird, you'll be plucking the feathers out of your arse next season when all of your quality players jump ship to Old Trafford.

They're ****ting themselves that a big club like ours is going to take their manager.

He's had 1 good season & they think he's Pep. <doh>

I've put my money where my mouth is & have put £50 on Pereira @ 18/1 <yikes>

You got big Bill's number he said he would listen to the fans mate<ok>

I thought Brighton looked head and shoulders the better team in the first half of the game i saw last night. If anything was to happen to brendan, I'd hope we'd be in there like a shot. But fair enough if you want this Portuguese dude; it's just that I think foreign managers need a season or two to adjust. And before you point out rafa won the CL in his first season, he also managed to get us ourlowest points in the Prem for years, and Mourinho walked in to a multi-billion squad and then spent some.

EDIT I know Poyet is foreign too, but he's acclimatised now.
