I saw your Hoadie thread and decided it was my bedtime, I thought I could mop up any carnage in the morning but it all seems calm, which is good.

As for Paul Scally, without him we would not have had a club, simples. As for Facebook and that Kent paper column, I do not go there to post and probably could count my visits on one hand, so hence do not entertain those opinions.
Funny enough her-indoors sometimes finds the comments quite entertaining to read and I keep saying stop reading that rubbish! She never takes any notice. So I guess it has its amusement value if your not on the receiving end of it. I was in the past directed to that Facebook page (which I did not know existed at the time) by a twitter user who was defending PS. Firstly it took me ages to find it and then for what I saw it appeared to be two people on my visit who were the instigators. I did not get involved.
Opinions, should come with respect to other posters, also with a degree of respect to the topic being discussed. So I am very tired of the Scally out brigade. Show me 2-3k people with the same views backing your protest and I might sit up and take them a bit more seriously but it still would not change my views at this moment in time.
I can remember the Dover/Wycombe period of backlash and it was not nice to witness. There was some (very angry) young men ranting absolutely every verbal expletive you could imagine. It makes me feel sad to see that.
Looking across the whole network of social media places to discuss Gillingham FC, they are all clearly broken into their separate bands of taste, opinion and varied rules of conduct. I enjoy our particular site as it is and the standard of expression within it.
Anyway, I've gone and drifted off topic now.
