Yeah it doesn't mean he got through to the second round of interviews, although there is a lot of untapped potential in the scottish leagues, he does seem like a cheaper option.

When I see that about Bollan a few minutes ago I thought who the hell is he but his win percentage is good, I don't really want him though as I would rather a manager from England.

Hoadie, I think that any of us could have a decent win percentage in division 1, 2 in scotland! In fact, they were in division 3 when he took over!

But the other managers in the lower leagues in Scotland didn't have such a good win percentage or they would have gone up. You can't do much more than get your team promoted and win manager of the month a few times, if your not very good. He's quite a young manager (39) and he looks to have a good background. He would probably come without much baggage and he'll have Hess to help him choose players (although I don't know if thats a good thing or not), but there are possibly a lot of good young players in Scotland who he may know and can attract to us.

Really, I would actually be happy to hear it being Tilson now, sorry I don't want him, he could be Neale Cooper the second and that is not what we want, also he may bring in loads of Scottish players.

You say it doesn't speak volumes when you leave under a cloud but Lee Clark did... In fact he appealed against the decision saying that it was unfair as the club were third when he was sacked. I'm glad he has been interviewed regardless of whether he gets the job. I don't care how low the level, it isn't easy to get successive promotions at any level of football and credit to him. It shows that Scally has broadened his horizons by interviewing such managers, I still hope Constantine gets the job personally though.

Constantine was never interviewed. gav@lesrosbifs tweeted on 7th june that Steve Constantine has had no contact from the club.

If true and I had previously seen the comments. I thought there had also been a post on not606 from a similar name stating the same but could be wrong (not looking back through 500+ posts!).

Seems strange that he would not apply for the job after making comments such as this...http://www.kentnews.co.uk/sport/constantine_wants_gillingham_job_1_1377198

So IF he did apply and IF he did not get an interview, we then interview Gary Bollan according to the BBC?

Tilson/Adams/Clark, yes please any of these guys would be brilliant. Bollan, you can have my season ticket back. Managing Livingstone is the equivalent of managing a sunday league pub side, not interested in a manager at this level we would end up being relegated.

you can add tilson to that bracket you speak of from the last half of your quote lenny :emoticon-0184-tmi:

don't want tilson, allen, bollan or any cheap option scally may be intending to stick with :emoticon-0127-lipss

just to thrown another name in Andy Ritchie has been rumoured to be appointed as the manager soon. as i say only rumours, and this does come from the same sight saying adam birchill is signing for falkirk, which must be crap as it says hes signed a precontractural agreement even though he hasnt been released!! he is however training with them as their preseason starts earlier than our!!
