Is it me or are his legs different colour to rest of him?
Is he wearing shorts with black tights or something!! Weird!
This is probably to make up for not having the blue and white hair any more!

I think it's the way the angle of the light is shining on them and the shirt is blocking it out creating a shadow on his legs. If not that then he's obviously wearing his wife's tights.

Enjoy sir, they were excellent last night. It's a long gig, they play loads of stuff, in reverse chronological order, finishing up with most of Damned, Damned, Damned.

I can highly recommend the Assembly Rooms in Leamington, proper old style space for about 1,000. Though they ran out of Guinness last night (I was thirsty). John Lydon and PiL there this week, sadly I am working away, would love to see them.

I love Lydon and I love the Pistols, but try as I might I have always found PiL to be utter ****e. I tried forcing myself to like them in an attempt to appear cool, but I failed miserably. Soz.

.....Like the rest of you I expect a good win against Norwich especially with the new manager bounce and them not winning in 5 games.

I almost wish they were not carrying such a stat to Loftus Road as we are wont to oblige other teams:-

"Preston North End won against Queens Park Rangers to record their first Championship victory of the season."

Reactions: ELLERS
I know nothing about Clement other than he has coached at a lot of clubs with aspirations to be world number 1, his dad played for Rangers in the 70s, he has never managed in the EFL until Derby (never managed at all before then) and clearly must have fallen out with the owner. I also know that he was asked twice and did not want to come. You could be right in that he is behaving honourably. Perhaps I am more cynical.

But the bottom line is that none of us actually know any more than the facts stated above so I am yet to be persuaded that he is the Messiah who will lead us to the promised land. I would hope he is just as others do. That's the reason why he would have been my preferred choice during the recent poll). I would have been happy had he wanted it badly enough. But he doesn't. If he won't come there isn't enough of a cv there for me to justify chucking money his way in order to make it irresistible for him.

Perhaps I'm being cynical but the idea of anyone in football (apart from possibly Ian Holloway) who would walk away from Bayern or Real to manage the club he supports for less money than he currently receives strikes me as fanciful.
There could be many many reasons why Clement isn't our new Manager, not enough cash on offer is no doubt a good bet as you say, but for all I know we may never have made him an offer at all, maybe he is happy in Munich, and maybe this, that, bla bla bla. I don't know he's a QPR supporter either. I only asked if you were in the know, because to me it read like you were.

To be honest I wouldn't expect to enjoy seeing PiL the same way as I enjoyed the Damned, aside from 5 or 6 songs it's just about unlistenable for me. But seeing the boy Lydon up on stage would be worth it.

So are you saying that you and others will be calling for Ellers to leave the forum for having an opinion that you don't agree with ?

Tell you what, either put him on ignore or just don't reply to his posts. A forum is here for many different opinions and different points of view, some you'll relate to, some you'll think are complete ****e...but I'll stick up for anyone on here to have an opinion, as long as it doesn't break the boards rules.
:emoticon-0148-yes:

Sadly, whatever I say I am fighting a losing battle. Holloway is popular with a lot QPR fans and sentimentality gets in the way of logic. I believe in football and not soundbites. been there done that moved on. If some fans want to go for nostalgia then so be it.
As a QPR fan I always want the best for my club and if I see something I believe will not work then I will say it.
That is my veiw and if people don't like it, tough.

I don't mind coments from other posters because at the end of the day they are entitled to their views.
However, I would also add that some posters need to look back at some of my coments before they post incorrect stuff about what I have said and not said.
So I will say it again for those that missed it. I like Oliie and had some good times when he was manager but sadly there were too many bad times and dire football. I have moved on and so has football and this division. I will support him and hope we win (like I always do) however my view is that it will end in tears. I always wanted Warnock but we missed the boat. I then said I would like a foreign manager or Ramsey until we sort ourselves out. We have Holloway now so best of luck to him.
For me this is groundhog day.

But tell me Ellers.....Surely you must be buzzin' like a school boy on Xmas eve, in anticipation for Saturday ?

I can't wait :)

I did wonder the same as well, I'm guessing it's the shadow and the angle the picture was taken.

What happened to Sherwood being nailed on for the gig? It just goes to show you can't predict football or politics!

I like Holloway but his appointment smacks of 'interim' to me what with all this talk of change and transition at QPR. On that subject can anyone remember a time when we haven't been in transition? It's hard to recall a time when we were just another football club going about our business without worrying if it was all about to go tits up.

I too am off to see The Damned in a couple of weeks and can't wait. Unlike about 5 million others I didn't see them at the 100 Club in '76 supporting the Sex Pistols, something to do with me being invested in The Cubs at the time, but they were a permanent fixture from the middle of the 80's onwards. If they drag out Brian James I can only hope they clean him up and get him some new teeth, the old fecker looks like a tramp these days.

"How will you be dressed Grove?" I hear you call, well I shall be Neat Neat Neat of course.

I believe Ollie will bring a well needed lift to HQ and I am sure the fans will be rocking. That must be a good thing as the place has been like a morgue at times. What worries me is that we still struggle to score goals and have a defence that switches off quicker than a light. If he can sort that then good.
As for 'Buzzin' Staines? I am looking forward to the new manager bounce and to get some points on the board and as we know when HQ is rocking there is no better atmospher in the country. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Now I've seen that stat, I'm off to put 20 quid on norwich to win to nil. Even when Norwich lost 44 games and went down under Roeder, they still managed to do the double over us. I wouldnt dream of usurping Col as chief Canary hater - but they are a hateful, jinx of a side. Can't recall ever having seen us beat them

Have never forgiven them for cheating us out of the 1st Division (Premiership) title...or was that the ref...don't matter I blame them all

Seen PiL twice now in the last couple of years, both at festivals, so I could go somewhere else...Both times I did after about 20 minutes. Cannot quite get them.
The Damned on the other hand, they finished and I was begging for more

I don't think these players have got anything much to "bounce" from. But I'm hoping the likes of Washington, Chery Luongo, and Shopido get some luck, some goals, and then the self confidence that comes from them to go on and get loads.
