Ok was it just me or did anyone else see the official Announcement of Claude Puel just come up on Twitter and then disappear again?

Edit: just found it again - fake account

I think mental arithmetic is very important. Technology allows you to do really tough stuff, which would be hard if you did mental arithmetic, but it is still useful in life. I get 20% off M and S as I am a pensioner....believe me I can work out the price to pay on multiple items with 20% off at the drop of a hat. I was always being asked by other staff to work out how many days off they could have if they had X hours of holiday due. Should Armageddon come and you need to survive...youngsters had better hope there are still a few oldies left to direct you. <laugh>
Tell you what Fran you and my wife are the same every time she gets a voucher through. She can tell me to the penny what she she has saved including discounts.........<laugh>

Now, why didn't I think of that.........I've had one all this time and didn't realise.......... Blimey I learn something every day........

I know we're joking about it, but it is a slightly serious question. Why didn't you think of that.? I know several people who ask me questions on various subjects and when I stand there slightly aghast, because of the long explanation I'm going to have to give them, or I simply don't know, they ask, What.? My answer is, You've got a computer. Why not ask that.?

And you'd be surprised how many answer with, Blimey, I never thought of that. Even a friend of mine, who I trained to fix computers years ago, still never thinks to look up an answer on the Net. I find it really odd. It's the first thing I do after I realise I don't know the answer to something. ;)

Funnily enough, my eldest brother, who's getting a bit bloody old these days and knew zero about using a computer less than 5 years ago, definitely qualifies as a silver surfer. The letters on his keyboard are getting rubbed off by the amount of questions he's asked. He's not bad at typing these days as well.

Apologies for going massively off-topic. This is what comes of not appointing a new manager, pronto. :)
