Indeed, which is what I'd do myself. But some people don't know the the method of calculation [not pointing any fingers].
No is the answer. My kids ask me what a cacluator is when on their homework it says "without a calculator". People have "apps" these days. I have that old thing called a brain and a pen and paper. Still working well.
Surprised and pleased by my 14.4% like ratio. Don't post much, but while being some way behind some others, I feel I am ahead of the curve.
Apologies about my complete lack of topic focus. I have no news and am waiting with baited breath like everyone else!

Quite simple really. All you have to do is type: What percentage of 6071 is 346.? into Google and the top answer is a straightforward website: http://www.alcula.com/calculators/finance/percentage-calculator/
Then find the right question to put your numbers in [it's the second one] Answer: 5.69922582771 or 5.7% [<- there it is]
There you go. Even someone who can't get their head round percentages can find the answer very quickly if they use that computer thingy right in front of them.
EDIT: Incidentally, I'm on 8.96%. I'm obviously not here for the likes.
ooh clever clogs...... I can get my head round percentages.....its you buggers don't understand my maths.............
Oh mine is at this moment 5.73% I lost the other 30 odd % on the last hack into our system.........Just to show I can work percentages out at least on paper, maybe not so good when I do them in my head........
No Fran I haven't got a calculator......I have difficulty when I run out of fingers and toes .......
