Is Eddie Howe that different to Thomas Tuchel in terms of what had been achieved prior to Dortmund taking a punt?
Giggs Neville is a good analyst, but we aren't a little club any more...we need an experienced manager.
In the interests of... well, the fact there's nothing else for us to discuss, here's what Berizzo actually said about gay people... "A bunch of ***gots is what you have in French football. There are so many homosexual players there, they always provoke you, they touch your thighs, your bum, to see if you will give some kind of signal. I feel disgusted when a homosexual shares the same shower and stares at one's bum with desire, and even gets emotional when you are naked."
I really don't understand this fascination/belief in Giggs, that he could manage a Premiership club straight off. Let him start at the bottom and prove that he can win at a lower league level before he jumps in to manage a top 10 Premiership club!
Exactly what I was thinking Fran, for some unfathomable reason he is like catnip for homosexual men. Crikey I would he happy to illicit that reaction in any person gay or straight, he's very lucky.
Yeah, good manager or not, I don't think we can, or should, be able to get past that kind of bigotry.
When I was a young man I was so suave, sophisticated and debonair that I was often mistakenly taken as being gay. I had many friends at that time who were gay when it was quite risky to be open about it.
When I was a young man I was so unsuccessful with the ladies I might as well have been gay.....but then I would have been as unsuccessful with the men too because it was me
I get a lot of approaches from gay men, even now - nothing to do with being debonair, more to do with living in the gay capital of England and having a beard methinks. Still, it's flattering, just as it would be from a woman.....(if that ever happened these days!)
