Iam drunk and off to bed, but some of you claiming this is ipa good signing would be laughing if this combo was off to someone else. .

Two things:

1. Nobody is claiming this is a good combo - NOBODY- were just not slagging them off.

2. You're drunk? Oh, credibility crash then!

That's called an opinion.

It's a judgement.

Hey, guess what, I have concerns too, that I likely wouldn't have were we appointing Mourinho or Pellegrini, or another name that had managed in the league successfully before. What I'm not going to do is convert those concerns (we all have them) into a frankly absurd judgement that "it is ****" before anything at all has happened.

The most important thing here spaced Saint is he word "was"... People are saying it and he hasn't even got here yet. That's what pisses me off. I'll be right up there moaning if it goes wrong, but to moan before anything happens is mental. It's very sad and I actually feel sorry for the people who are like that. They must lead very sad lives.
I am leading a very satisfying life for your information.

Here's a thing - it's not the combo I would have chosen either. The point is, the board deserve and have earned our trust, and I realise comparatively I'm really just some clueless berk on a football forum. I'm not going to sit here with a gavel saying "this is wrong and dreadful".

It may well turn out to be. Going by past experience of our appointments, chances are it won't. But to sit here and pass judgment and make statements as fact isn't offering an objective opinion, it's shaking your fist at buses.

Did I say that - no. I want Saints to do well above anything else but if it does come to us struggling down the lower reaches of the table I won't miss the opportunity to give some **** back after you've sat on your high horse tonight.

Tom, I'm not on my high horse.

I'm just telling you that your reaction is like that if a ten year old child who hasn't got the pressie he wanted. Now you may prove to be right, but it doesn't stop the fact that you are behaving like a spoiled brat ( I know, you won't like that and will report me for being insulting).

You still haven't answered the questions for the other day or tonight.

This is what I'll propose:

This time next year if Puel is sacked, I'll take you for a nice dinner and we can have a chat and as a grown up, I'll say "Donyou know what Tom, your feelings at the start have been proved right"

So, no high horse for me, more a case of you not like being called out for some very petulant behaviour.

Any chance of any answers to the questions or not??

And just like you did when you said we were **** under Koeman just before Christmas?

Yet every other choice made sense. This one doesn't. I wouldn't have joined in at all, but I agree with Tom and, frankly, his viewpoint was being sneered at, so I joined in. This might beba clever move, but it is not an ambitious one IMFO.

Not now because I'm off to bed.

It's easier to overlook if it's an out of character response, or has backing, but Tom's rattle has been lobbed across the room countless times over the years on this forum. That's what makes it tedious for me.

Sorry, Tom. I trust you won't be annoyed because it's only an opinion, of course.
