I also hope he is going to have a more attack minded philosophy. One waits in anticipation.

None of us lot were excited about Johnson. But we’ve progressed year on year so in hindsight a huge majority of our fan base were wrong. Don’t get me wrong we’ve still got some fans refusing to go whilst he’s in charge.
But you never know he might shock you all and be a good fit.

In all honesty ROD, he's probably the perfect fit for the squad we've got with the mentality that's been brainwashed into them. I don't doubt we'll win some games carrying on with the same stuff.

It's all about what he can do to change things for the future because the way we're set up, we're a mid table club at best. Is he the right manager to introduce tactical reforms that we've been crying out for?

"Give him a chance" seems to be the cry, but what else can we do?

I have thought about this, apart from bad managers we have also had bad owners I can go back to the Dewi brothers in the 50s who some said bled this club dry ,then another Tony Clemo also Sam the man people who knew very little about football but had the destination of our club in their hands,now we have a board that also know little about football also a owner but yes it is his money and we are grateful for what he has done to get us back on track money wise ,but again a decision has been made to employ a manager which a lot of us on this site said it would not be a good idea ,but they went ahead and did it.So I would like to say this I have loved this club from the age of eight years old from the time when I paid 9 old pence to see them play for the first time standing in the Grange end squshed up against the wall watching players like Stitfall Harrington,Vernecomb malloy,Travelling down on a Saturday on a steam train from Treforest station I loved every minute of it.But at my old age and a lot wiser I have decided to give this manager of ours a chance to prove me wrong and see how the season pans out ,please god he proves us all wrong.

I wouldn't rely on a god dude..... Having a game of solitaire will be just as beneficial.

If I may say so, a very mature decision. Not a comment on your age but your mind-set.
I will also add that in the final chapter, we will still, all, continue to support regardless of what happens. That will be totally immature but inevitable.

Graham Moore was from Hirwaun FFS William, went onto to play for Manchester United...WTF? He was a star....mind you Madine is a star in waiting....two goals against Charlton could kick start his career with City! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Graham Moore could not head a ball to save his life.
 
And Madine can't head, kick, do anything with a football and is incapable of running around. To call him a donkey is an insult to donkeys.

Can't speak for Moore and Baker, before my time.

However, I seem to recall more recently we signed an ex- Manure player by the name of Macheda. That didn't go too well did it? I'm not sure comparisons with players from that club stand up so well. We had Zaha on loan from them as well. <doh>
