At least Tan won't be around to check the DNA of applicants. As the man on the ground in the UK I hold him responsible for this mess more than anyone else yet he seems to avoid all the flak flying around. What did he hope to achieve with his Hull City Council meetings and what's his legacy? Who's the main man over here in the UK now?

Looks like Jim Rodwell could be back. Was part of Acun's party on Tuesday.

More red flags for me…

Jokanovic picked a formation and system and hoped to bring in players to utilise it. He didn't get them and tried fitting square pegs into round holes to force his formation and system to work. It didn't and he was sacked as a result.

Hecky didn't do anything unique, clever or innovative. He just deployed Wilder's formation and tactics as he had the players to do this.

From speaking to blunts he came in trying to switch them from 352 to 433 when they didn’t have any wingers at the club. Like you’ve said in another post he was promised players and didn’t get them as well.

We have the players for 433 so I doubt he has those issues here.

In terms of style of play I would go different away and home.

Away, keeping possession naturally draws out the opposition as they don’t like to be dominated on their own ground. I’d utilise the midfield (Puerta/Zambrano) in the Seri role. Unlike Liam, I’d want to make a positive pass when it’s on. Get it to the wingers and isolate their full backs - go at them - Kamara on the right with the option to cut in and shoot. Longman to drive towards the byline looking for crosses/pull backs.

At home for those teams that are happy to sit in, I would look to move the ball forward quicker (not necessarily just long balls). Find the feet of the centre forward when possible and play 2 advanced midfielders to support. Still hit the wingers as before, but really upping the tempo of our play. We have the option of reverting to the away style when leading if it brings the opposition out.

Sinik has caps for Turkey and of some of the brief glimpses of him in a City shirt I thought he looked useful.

I gave you this last Friday.

I hope but very much doubt we have gone back to old school football. Defenders practicing tackles and headers in the box to stop the other side scoring, aided by panda who does the same but has the advantage of being able to use his hands.
Forwards practicing kicking the ball at/into the goal. If the ball is too high to kick use your head.
Midfielders doing a bit of both, if we're attacking move up, if defending come back.
You’ve got the job I’d forgot !

About time we had a complete rethink about who manages a club. What about hiring three coaches, one attack, one defence, one goalkeeper, but a fans panel of say 6 fans chosen at random, every week to pick the team every game..Round pegs in round holes etc..After all us fans know who puts in a shift and who requires a kick in the rear end, and who isn't at the races. Revolutionary, but I'm convinced it could work.

Mate, we can't even decide on here who has played well and who had a **** game, how would six random people come to a consensus on a team? Also, if you were on the panel that picked a team that lost the game and it cost you promotion/got you relegated, how enjoyable would your next home game be surrounded by 20,000 very angry people?

I remember 3-2-1 and that dusty bin bollox. ....Trying to work out the clues was like trying to work out how to split the atom, after reading the instructions printed in the Beano. Ted Rogers was the host. He was like your pervy Uncle Billy, who you suspected was dodgy, but never had the evidence.

Minor details...A club should try it and see how it goes, then I bet it would take off.

How did you know I had an uncle Billy? :emoticon-0138-think
