Giz a job, I can do that.

I hope but very much doubt we have gone back to old school football. Defenders practicing tackles and headers in the box to stop the other side scoring, aided by panda who does the same but has the advantage of being able to use his hands.
Forwards practicing kicking the ball at/into the goal. If the ball is too high to kick use your head.
Midfielders doing a bit of both, if we're attacking move up, if defending come back.
With a football philosophy like that I for one am looking forward to seeing you on the touchline resplendent in your BT marked training kit, geeing the lads on and occasionally drifting onto the pitch to trip up the opposition wingers.

I don't care about age or experience, it just needs someone to put an arm around the players and give them some belief back. Someone they'll respect but also enjoy playing for. That could be another young manager like Rosenior or it could be an older one if he's still relevant. Definitely don't want a Colin type, and definitely no more of Acun's foreign punts.

trouble is it's Acun who will make the final decision on who to appoint & with Tan gone who is at the club he actually listens to ?
He should sit down with Andy Dawson & ask him to help identify the next manager
This is now Acun's 4th attempt at appointing the right manger & I am dreading it's going to be a foreign manager we've never heard of who has no experience of managing in this country or in this division.

Because 2 managers were **** and one shouldn't have been sacked

what does he do?
surely questions need asking, regardless of him being a club legend or not

the manager falls on the sword publically, but hes not the only one behind the scenes coaching and managing

So what you're saying is Dawson helped get us to 7th last season?

I'd imagine he's the ongoing thread of stability & knowledge that's needed. And probably (although yes, of course, needs questionning) a decent coach. But it's almost certain that he's having to coach under the instructions & style of whoever is managing. The playing style won't be down to him at all.
