New layout

Android phone (samsung) and i have 4 tabs permanently open (see screenshot below). I have those 4 tabs open and I flit between each one as and when. I click on the "4" (circled) and it brings up my 4 tabs.
Ive never had any of the messages im seeing above, and honestly have no issues with the site at all, other than when its a cloudflare issue, then its down for everyone.
Only posting just to see if it helps anyone, or might be helpful as to why im not having any issues.

Interesting point and not one I'd thought of, probably just coincidence though - I always have my tabs open, so what I mean is I don't actually close the tabs down, they will be open all the time, along with other tabs.

That way I might not be on the site but if a little red number comes up in my notifications (because the tab is still open), I can see someone has responded to something I'm active on.

Then I can chose to go look at the response or just continue whatever I'm working on. If I need to close my windows I just minimise them to the task bar.

Much like this tab now, I've been out, come back again and just jumped straight back on the same tab, no loading, notifications auto refresh themselves. And I've not had it block or send me a message even once to me.

I was trying to post on the world cup thread but it wouldn't post, then it let me post on here and it's been fine since.
I think the lady doth protest too much...

... :emoticon-0140-rofl:

On a more serious note.
I felt that the board was running slow and I got the message that others have had about being banned. However I have, in general, had very few problems. Perhaps I'm just lucky.

Or we’re just unlucky.

I’m kidding! Couldn’t resist. You’re a top drawer poster.

Spoke to the site owner, didn't realise he was not at home yet. He will slacken it off a bit when he gets home. He clarified for me, just for my understanding as I'm not seeing the problem, but if it happens to you, it should be no more than a 10 second delay. I think some posters have said on here that a refresh clears it, that would make sense over a 10 second period of time.

Did some digging using AI, as you do.

It seems like iPhones hide your identity slightly more and don't give as much data to the website they are accessing. This could be triggering Not606's bot protection so errors / blocks are more likely.

This was new to me as well:

Blink and WebKit are the two most widely used web browser rendering engines, responsible for translating code into the visual websites you see. Blink is the engine behind Chrome and Edge, while WebKit powers Apple's Safari. Though Blink originated as a fork of WebKit in 2013, they have since drifted into distinct technologies with different goals.

Apple's Walled Garden: On iOS, Apple enforces a strict policy dictating that all web browsers must use WebKit—meaning even Chrome or Firefox on an iPhone are technically running on WebKit underneath.
