This was new to me as well:

I use to save not606 to my favourites under the web address bar at the top of the screen, but that's full with more important stuff these days, so I just open up tabs in the morning and leave them open all day. I rarely sign out.

The reason I leave the tabs open is because then I don't have to be on the site, but the tab will show number of notifications received, I can then attend to those in my own time. I can minimise the tab out of sight if need be.

So in summary, I don't sign in and out, I don't open and close tabs, once one is open for the day along with any other stuff I need, they remain open.

Notifications should be auto refreshing without the user having to do anything.

On the rare ocassion anything does go wrong on the site, I will clear cookies and cache, ONLY for not606, to ensure I'm clearing any link that has corrupted, otherwise it will continually remain bust until you do clear it.

The only other hindrance is my NordVPN, so I can go to it and pause it for a selected period of time. Then unpause it once in, when in use I tend to use UK fastest server.

I use Android mobi Pixel 8a and an ASUS laptop, along with Giffgaff and Talk Talk. I don't have any Apple products. mobi signal where I live is absolute ****, so tend to rely on wi-fi.

I don't use my mobile that much mainly because I don't like the site layout on it, personal taste.

If any of this helps any one, then great.

I have a couple of adblockers, but don't tend to use them so much these days, because you are going to get booted out of stuff for not watching ads, especially things like your local rag. If I'm using Youtube a lot for music stuff, then I might turn the adblockers on, well I use to, not sure the effect of them now.
