It was bad earlier today, alright for a while, then went bad again. Is the new format more data intensive for the host server, or whatever it is?

It’s annoying when you’re getting errors 30% of the time.

It’s probably worse on EE mobile data. We’re on Virgin media at home and I do always have the EE WiFi calling active as the mobile reception is poor. Especially downstairs.

Good tip about the refreshing. Just did it (fnar fnar) about 6 times in quick succession and the site seems better.
 
I'm either missing something or have been lucky, but apart from the site being down a couple of days a couple of weeks ago I don't have any problems with it.

Makes no sense to me how the same site, on the same device and WiFi network behaves differently from hour to hour, but it seems that unless it's completely tanked then at least refreshing does work.

If you screenshot a live pic it’s no longer a live pic mate.

To be fair this issue existed before the changes, modern phones the pics are quite large files due to the retained detail.

Screenshot and crop always works.

The site needs a lot of juice mind often won’t load in spots where Instagram etc work fine.

Been having a play with the search funtion, and yeah it looks like it's not working, seems everything ground to a halt on the 19th Dec 2025 - Unless anyone can prove differently?

So I've been having a little think, and my curiosity wonders if it's to stop us appearing in google search functions, so kids can't be inadvertantly directed to content they might find accidently.

I've looked through my communications and I can tie 19th Dec to when I was discussing the new UK legislation coming in.

Tbph weighing up my thoughts, think it's something I'd leave alone.

I don't want under 18's straying in here, and with the recommendationss of Keir Starmer over the last few days about banning under 16's and restrictions on under 18's I think it makes sense not to repair it.

I should say this is just me thinking out loud about what I think has happened.
