People need to stop living in the past. We aren't going back to the previous one. I don't know why so many are so desperate for it just because of the association with a particular period of the club.
I'm not "living in the past" and I'm not "desperate". Yet again, please just stop making **** up.
I don't like the current badge. I really like the previous badge.

'People need to stop living in the past'???? But we are going back to a shirt first worn in 1974 and calling it retro?
Isn't that 'living in the past'? We will be running out to a Jethro Tull song next.
The facts are the mid 70's were a particulary bad time for the club. We dropped down the leagues, our crowds evaporated and we finished up in Receivership. To my generation this shirt represents those times.
But we are not the important ones. My youngest granddaughter thinks it is great and wants one, that is what is important. Not my view although I am entitled to it.
I honestly think it is a mistake to do away with the roaring tigers head crest. Maybe improve the tigers head by all means but don't bin it altogether. Other clubs would give their right hind leg to have a long established nickname like that. We should commercialise it for all it is worth, not disregard it and bin it off altogether.

I don't really get why you think the logo is terrible. It's minimalist and neat.

Re: The logo, for me, given how think liney it is, would look far better about half the size.

Just dipped in to this thread to see the feedback. Skipped 20+ pages of what appears to be hate, so bear with me if I repeat anything already covered.

As far as the home shirt is concerned, while first impressions are that it would look better in reverse, I really like the big "**** you" to the modern style of shirt as we re-enter the Premier League. We will stand out in the same way that simple retro Milan or Juve shirts do. The original was just before my time by, say, 5 years so not something I identified with at the time.

Edit: I think I'm trying to say it has more identity in 2026/27 than the normal cookie cutter kits that we would get with a proper supplier. Whether that will turn into commercial success is another question, but it will stand out on the pitch hopefully.

Also, it actually didn't look bad in the pic of McBurnie with arms folded.
