New Kit

Cor blimey can't believe the hate going on here. Having a wife who is a designer I see how this stuff works.

You can't just take a logo and "photoshop" it to fit your design, you get given the exact images you can use you can't change aspect ratio nor colours there are probably stipulations on which of the logos they would accept on the shirts too. Also to put a huge white panel on there would be a nightmare you'd have to use very thick print to go over 2 brights colours which would then be liable to break up & crack.

I don't know what the people who hate it want to be honest if you want the half n half design there's not much else you can do. Without seeing all of the design brief for their logo it's hard to say more but knowing how the industry works....
 
It is unfortunate, but the new kit does look better on the players during games. I think the away kit is better and I really like keeping green and yellow in a different combination.

A simple black pinstripe border around the yellow square would have made all the difference and I'm not a designer I just know what looks good and what doesn't it's a pity that no-one at Errea does. Stupid mistake by them but hey-ho as many have said it's how the team performs in the kit that matters not what they bloody look like <ok>

P.S. IMO the overriding reason why the club have sold so many is because we've just been promoted back to the Premier League, had we still been down with the dead men they wouldn't have sold nowhere the same. As I say, just my opinion.

For those of us who are quite 'portly' (beer bellied), hoops aren't exactly flattering either <laugh>
 
I particularly enjoy the expressions on Martin's and Mulumbu's faces. They look like they don't know whether to laugh or cry
 
I thought the home shirt was bad, this 3rd kit is awful! Is it likely we've made the worst kit possible for the 3rd kit so that the home kit looks better? If so, its worked for me!

.......and to think that we've just signed an 8 year kit deal with Errea ! <yikes>
 
I'm actually quite enjoying these kits now. I'm starting to think the club are just taking the mick <laugh>
 
Am I allowed to say I don't like the third kit or is that not me supporting the club? Maybe it will grow on me, the home kit have a little bit.
 
I actually quite like it. Won't buy one but I'm not offended by it.

I'm gonna get a home kit when squad numbers come out. I'm thinking Howson this year. Then I'll see if I'm still tempted by the away kit.

There's no mention of when we'll actually play in the third kit.
