Is the keeper kit meant to be in one of those colours that make the keeper look bigger? I know Chelsea used a bright shade of orange for that reason, I have vague recollections of pink doing the same. Outfield kit is awesome!
I do like it actually, not sure about the yellow shorts, they seem really bright but the shirt itself is really tidy. I have to say as well, I think seeing the home shirt in action in pictures and stuff I'm beginning to warm to that more. The box is still annoying but the back looks awesome.
Hi bors, Norwich City board to be congratulated on maintaining our uniqueness . . . green and yellow away kit !!! I most definitely approve.
I'm sure most fans would agree with you NORKIE. I'm not sure I'll be getting one though - may have to ask Santa!!!!!
Yellow shorts is a great touch in my mind. I also think Ruddy looks good in his kit though suspect he might get a bit of grief from some of the opposition fans from time to time. I imagine most keepers grow fairly thick skin in their job though.
I would prefer the home kit in the away kit format, not sure how green pinstripes would work out though.
Two yellow and green kits, probably some sort of regulation that says you need a distinct 'away' colour too. or the club just wants more money.
JR bor, you don't need a kit to support the green and yellow. Your vocal support at matches is the best support you can provide. I mentioned two seasons ago when we wore that dreadful black and white shrouds that we should use green and yellow as our away kit, just pleased our board now agrees with me . . . our colours are unique and makes us easily recognisable against all other opposition. You are probably aware that owners of Hull want to change their title for them to create a greater global image. We don't have that problem, our club colours do it for us. Another point I would like to raise is the use of our club song, OTBC. During the 1950-60s it was a battle anthem, not the chant it has become lately. I have vivid recollections of that sound emphasising our uniqueness in that department. It resounded around the ground and encouraged the players to greater efforts even if those efforts didn't always bring the right result. We live in changing times but we should preserve our uniqueness wherever possible. OTBC. PS. The last time I mentioned our away kit two seasons ago some didn't approve of my remarks. Unfortunately a person who did agree with me took the flak for my remarks. If you wish to be critical would you criticise me and not blame another person.
That's fine Norkie and this is a forum, so everyone should be able to voice their opinion without others 'jumping down their throats'. I have been a season ticket holder for 8 years I think it is now and supported our boys at Wembley!!!
