Well, it has certainly divided opinions! The traditionalist in me will bemoan the lack of broader stripes, and definitely no longer black shorts. But the new kit does have style and continuing the design for the away kit is good. At least the Geordies won't taunt us with "Are you Sunderland in disguise". However, I can almost hear the Everton fans already! I think on balance its better to be compared to Liverpool than Sunderland. Once the season is under way and the points start accumulating I feel sure Saints fans will unite behind the team regardless of what they are wearing. (Well, at least its not blue with white shorts!)
Wow, a middle aged man who gets argumentative on a football forum.... I'm sure your family are proud.
What are you talking about? I know people are allowed to disagree with me and I don´t care if they do, because that is there opinion. I was referring to the person who said "We all know what we're in for over the next 12 months. Last season's moaners are next season's moaners"...Just because I don´t like the kit it doesn´t make me a moaner, it is just my opinion...The people that moan about other peoples views are the real the moaners.
On another note, looks like England are about to beat Australia whilst wearing blue pyjamas. Hardly traditional but who cares.
Well, that remains to be seen. You did imply that someone was telling you you weren't allowed to express your opinion though.
Not quite what I was expecting, but hopefully I'll warm to it. Kit designs come and go, and ultimately a kit gets remembered for what the team does in it. Let's just hope for a productive season.
Hang on, I'll just go ask them... "Hey, Tiffany, Heather, Heather, Cody, Jacob, Dylan, Jordan, Dermot, Taylor, Brittany, Wesley, Rumer, Scout, Cassidy, Zoe, Chloe, Max, Hunter, Kendall, Caitlin, Noah, Sasha, Morgan, Kyra, Ian, Lauren, Qbert, Phil, Condolezza Marie, Rubella Scabies, and Gummy Sue... are you proud of Daddy?!" "NO!" Frowny face.
I do know that I am actually allowed to express my opinion but I was trying to get the point across that I am "allowed" to express my opinion without being a moaner.
