I am feeling a little like Paul Ringer having read this.

He wasn't there but they don't care. Ringer got the blame.

No but considering Ings is our best and arguably most popular player (along with JWP), he would be the obvious choice to be in the kit launch.

JWP was the fans’ Player of the Season though.

Yeah, him and Ings are clearly the 2 biggest favourite amongst fans and all that award actually means fans think he had the best season.

Just seems odd to omit your star player from a kit release

Sign of the times when players hold the sponsors badge rather than the club crest <laugh>

I'd prefer black or red shorts and socks.

Would like us to have a Feyenoord-style shirt for a season.

I'm definitely down. Some of the earliest kits worn by the club had halved shirts with reversed sleeves, so it's not exactly heretical either.

I'm guessing the idea is to make the strikers feel queasy if they get a one on one?

Wasn’t that the reason Peter Schmeichel used to have bright patterns on the arms of his kits (to put off the strikers)

edit: looking through some 90’s kits I think horrendous patterns were just the norm in then. I had forgotten how nasty some of those were!
