Yeah I agree, the sash home kit from this season is one of my favourites for a long time.

I like that Saints tend to mix up our kits every few years - we've had the sash, stripes, pinstripes, the xerox throwback. Doing it that way is much more interesting than having stripes year in, year out. This is a nice enough effort for a striped kit though.

Both the sash kits this year were so nice. It's definitely better to try and change the design once in a while. As long as it's red, white and black, they can go nuts as far as I'm concerned.

I quite like it. They've played it safe, so i can't see it offending many people! Hoping they go for something leftfield with away kit.

Just re-watched it... did anyone else spot Franny in a dark blue kit under his training top - i wonder if that's it? That will definitely divide the masses if it is!!

Looks a bit similar to this one from '87...

It's more like a Skate shirt than Saints.

Saw the new kit and thought I'd have a browse through the online shop as Mrs Jab's birthday is not that far off and I fancy a sash shirt. Clicked on an item and saw delivery details for the UK only. FAQs gave a cost of £7.50 for EU delivery, query re supplying to the EU sent to the club. Then checked the Dutch end to find 21% VAT due on orders over €22 plus import duty over £150. This to be collected by the delivery company who also need to declare the goods to customs and pay customs clearance costs which I'd be liable for. This jogged my memory and I previously posted that a charity tee shirt wasn't available in the EU because of this bollocks. What sort of a triumph is that? No kit for us until we're able to travel and get to the shop.

And then you’ll have to wear it on the return journey too in case you get stopped at customs.

Can you send it to family or friends in the UK and then get them to send it to you?

There will be many layers, I've ordered from DJ tees and Ace records in the past. Then there are the restrictions on foodstuffs, we would usually take a case full of pasties and pies etc home and bring Eurogoodies for the family.

Have a look at this from https://www.postnl.nl/en/campaigns/brexit/ Remember the lorry driver's ham sandwiches? There's also changes at Schipol to https://www.schiphol.nl/en/page/brexit/ Similar for road/ferry and train journeys.
"Receiving parcels from the UK
Parcels from the UK are now officially coming from outside the European Union. Recipients in the Netherlands therefore will be required to pay custom clearance fees if the total value of imported goods exceeds 22 Euro. If any charges are payable, we will of course inform you in advance by mail or e-mail."

This probably the wrong thread for discussing brexit implications, I'm looking forward to seeing the full range of stuff I can't afford to buy and have delivered.
Edit, that's assuming a logistics company can be found that is prepared to do all the paperwork involved and pass on the fees to the correct authorities. Ah well back to the sunlit uplands to collect a bucket of unicorn **** for the roses.

Where else do the problems with buying and having the new kit and other club products delivered to the Netherlands belong? I was asked about having a parcel sent by friends or family, gave an answer in line with the question and vented my frustration at the current situation and its wider implications. For that, I make no apologies in fact I couldn't give a flyer. Talk to a mod if you have a grievance.

Spotted that too. It must be the away kit. We had blue in 90’s at some point used to have a picture of Neil Maddison in a blue away kit

Anyone worked out what the picture seems to be inside the shirt? Looks like stadiums or something like that too me think I can make out the Dell and St Mary’s and 2 others. One might just be a pitch

I like it. We had stripes for the first 2,000 years of my being a Saints fan so no problem with it at all. Would love a Brazil-style yellow/blue away kit but we’ll see.
