Interesting side point that Mike Dodds is also remaining as Assistant. So we have two assistant managers (something which seems more and more popular nowadays).

I have no problem with this. in fact I'm pleased. He's clearly doing a good job as an Assistant

The players clearly like Dodds in a friendly way ...

... bad for a manager, good for assistants imo.

New name on me. Big welcome and delighted he is a completey fresh set of eyes.

His background with Perreira is very encouraging. More recently seems to have ploughed his own furrough.

I notice he had a spell as a scout in Saudi Arabia some time ago too. Interesting given the thread on Henderson.

Checks Sunderland’s announcement comments out to see if there’s any whingers cos surely they can’t be now.

“So Dodds and his mate are still here” ….

How can someone sit there while we are top of the table, loads of good morale and say whey let’s upset continuity and get rid of Dodds and proctor.

I just need to stop reading social media comments :emoticon-0102-bigsm

So that's two youngish foreign coaches being attracted to the back of beyond as the media would describe coming to Sunderland.
What is this witchcraft that our club are getting into, top of the league after 9 games, players hopefully recovered from injuries and our latest signings closer to match fitness, with some difficult fixtures coming up but aren't they all, if this lads adds just 5% then what's not to like.
Excited doesn't even come close.

Na not happy with this like Dodds still sticking about stinking the place out! SPEAKMAN OUT! **** it KLD out, any idea what that energy drinks bloke is doing bet he would get Phillips in someone who understands the club!

I mean that is 100% satire from me but I bet there is some who think along these lines!

Exactly. KLD and Dodds out. Those of us who knaar, knaar.

I’ll have to check the east stand pint bar to see if they have it in.
Might check on Sunday while at the Women’s match

They usually do, had it a couple of times and it's certainly a better choice than the other ****e that's served.

Mind I was in th posh seats for the Derby game...much better selection in Quinn's :emoticon-0102-bigsm

All of that is quite right, persuading people to come to the NE has always been a slog ...

... now, it seems, they're beating a path to our door.

And, without 'tempting fate', those who come represent the club well and the ones who leave speak highly of us. I could easily imagine the likes of Jack Clarke turning out at a Sunderland match.

In fact I'm going to start taking my binoculars :bandit:
