He's quite blunt regarding the way the team is playing and the way players are learning what he wants ...
... I doubt he'd accept anyone, as his right hand man, who doesn't fit in with his ideals.
Fair play, he seems to be taking it all in his stride.
He comes across like he has very high standards and a very clear idea of what he wants, I didnt watch so can't compare with what I saw but from what others have said on here the lads were impressive yesterday but it's great for the manager to want even better?
I kinda like him - he's defintely growing on me the more I watch. I was never that taken with Beale with the way he conducted himself but RLB is seriously head and shoulders above whats gone before. Like all good coaches, he has that kind of aura around him for me - that confident in what he wants and how he wants to coach and if anyone or anything doesn't match up to his expectations then he will let them know. Can only be a good thing for us
From the little I've seen he's respected by the players but certainly no their pal ...
... he's taken a big risk coming to an underperforming club and doesn't look like he'll be taking prisoners.
As it should be for me. I don't think he'll be one that'll coach from the sidelines but I think the players will know whats required in the dressing room

So far he has said he didn't want anyone from his own club. I get the feeling he doesn't think any of them are up to the standards he wants.
He has said he won't get someone in or the sake of it they have got to be what he is looking for or he would rather not bother and is happy to go forward with what's n place now!
But all that is ignored for the agenda some people have.
Surely it's a good thing he won't use unto it and won't expand the coaching team for the sake of adding more bodies.
Watch everytime we lose: why hasn't he got his own team yet, why isn't be allowed to get coaches in, he is a yes man speakman picks the team on match day and won't let him add any coaches and Dodds is speakmans spy in the camp only reason he isn't out in his arse after last season.

May be difficulties getting work permits for coaches from Lorient. I’m happy with him taking his time and getting the right people in.
Yes I agree, if he picks his own man, and is not stuck with Dodds and Proccy, I like Proccy he talks sense, so if he stays that's fine by me.

I'm struggling to understand how this is the case and why Speakman would need anyone in his pocket. It implies that Speakman and Dodds are actively working against the Head Coach, but why would they do that?
Stop causing drama, the players love him and you can see it with the way they interact with him
