It seems Burnley are a national laughing stock and a shambles being in the transfer window without a manager. How embarrassing to have arrived at a point whereby they've lost a manager and clearly have no continuity planning. No doubt they'll end up taking the cheap option as they clearly don't want to pay compensation. Despite their assistant manager taking them down it looks like they'll just let him have a try. He's currently acting head coach, the second time he's filled in. I don't believe he has any actual managerial experience, was recently declared bankrupt and had a recent break for 'mental health issues', oops. Perhaps they can't attract a manager because they won't sack their DOF and all the coaches despite being relegated and effectively writing off half a season. Their supposed owner is a Mormon, with a shady past, and the club carry a multi-million debt despite the Kompany compo and parachute money.

Definitely something wrong at that club ...

... really glad we're nothing like them <laugh>

Imagine not having a manager this close to the season, tinpot bastards

I like the sound of the new coach Régis Le Bris.
Looking forward to him and who he brings. New signings and pre season games to start with @RTB 's match day threads :emoticon-0148-yes:

HA'WAY THE LADS.

Am gerrin excited now <laugh>
What amazes me is he's linked with bringing 2-4 coaches with him, one of which has 3 sons. That's one hell of a commitment from them, and emphasises how much we need to welcome them and give them the season, not just 10 games, or 3 games if you produce some whacky We Are Sunderland podcast.

Before anyone corrects me, I know for sure KLD won't be reviewing after 10 games... so maybe we should drop this phrase, as it lends itself to the toxic atmosphere in our club?

12 games mate, well if your name is Michael Beale anyway :emoticon-0136-giggl

Based on the lack of coaching staff that came with him, I'm not sure the club were all in on Beale and may have been intending to review his position at the end of the season anyway. We would have been better off if he'd seen the season out, and we may have ended up with someone else by this stage anyway. Just a gut feeling.

weeelllllll... i like to take a look after around 10 games but that is not to judge them really, just to see if improvements can be seen, i actually saw a couple of changes with MB but i feel his time was over before he was given the job.

this sounds like a pretty big structure change and will need more time than just a coach swap, but i will still do my 'review' after 10 games and i won't be calling for a change.

I've stayed away from making observations and remarks about what's happened or lack of new coach the last month or so, I didn't know anything about this Regis Le bris bloke and had never heard of him and my personal choice would have been maric but, the more I read and the more I think and see what is happening at my club I'm over the moon with this appointment. C'mon reg lad make us proud, what price is autos for us this year

25/1 to win the league
7/1 to be promoted
No price yet for top 2 or top 6 finish

Those odds are poor though. I think. I’d want at least 20/1 to back us to go up, 7s is really poor value imo.

Yeah it seems pretty low after the season we've just had, do they know something that we don't or are they just thinking that if we do get it right we'll be like a runaway train. :emoticon-0169-dance

There'll be some twisting at the first game.
