“Yes man”, “cheap option”, “only one who’d work with Dodds and proctor”

Big summer ahead and some tweaks needed in recruitment, but this is really positive news. And hopefully a pretty clear indication, that any rumours that KLD is trying to sell are way wide of the mark imo.KLD said he had learned. He’s now showing he HAS learned. Time to get off the lad’s case…
It is a completely different appointment to the Beale appointment. Beale would have brought a coach, given time. I don't believe that things were ever as rigid as some made out. None of this surprises me. It doesn't make logical sense; passing up the opportunity to improve due to dogmatism doesn't fit with the ethos they came in with. They tried to do things differently from the start. This isnt just claiming about bringing in an assistant, many new additions and wide structure change. Think most would be okay if he could bring in his assistant and a first team coach, this is a significant difference potentially. Time will tell if lessons have truly been learned, but this is a total change from the Beale appointment, and one Im feeling excited about.

Finally. KLD has learnt the way.
This who you and @Scout73 were on about?
Okay NOW I’m excitedRomano saying several new coaches coming with Le Bris
Anyone know the names of players he’s worked with? I know one went to BournemouthMind you, if we sign a capable striker this summer then I’m gonna faint![]()

Coaching reshuffle and more experience targeted in transfers.
Seems many of us are getting exactly what we want here.
It's needed no doubt. If it happens like it's getting spoken about, fair play to KLD.
I didnt believe that we would lose out on a head coach because Dodds etc were being forced on them but I did think there were limitations on the amount of staff they could bring in. This appears not to be true. I can accept the club being rigid with having the final say on recruitment so we dont end up getting an unbalanced squad who suit different style of managers. But imo a head coach deserves a team to support him and help him deliver what he wants with the squad. It looks like we're giving RLB that support to help him be successful. Now he needs the missing pieces in the squad. It is a completely different appointment to the Beale appointment. Beale would have brought a coach, given time. I see the revisionism has already started though.
