Seems like a good fit and the more I read the more I think he could be canny here.
Seems good tactically, good with youth and intelligent.
Canny. Ha'way!

Not really, because achievements and failures at other clubs are irrelevant because the situations are different. Bayern for example look at how Kompany wants to play and can see how that would translate to their team and their aspirations. We are probably looking at the players that have developed under Le Bris and think that will work well here. We shouldn't take much from him being relegated, just like we shouldn't take much from him finishing 10th.Equally unbelievable!
I'm sure no one would have chosen someone who's just got a team relegated. Only Sunderland.
Right, I've had a little lunchtime drink, so I'm going to say this before my natural reserve comes back or this will low key antagonise me for all eternity.
It's spelt Lorient; no apostrophes, no double L.
The cheese is spelt "Brie", Reg's surname means something else.

They're all a big gamble, Moyes had more experience than most PL managers and failed at Sunderland ...
... Crosby had absolutely none and almost won us the FA Cup.
You make a good point and I'm trying - just disappointed atmNot really, because achievements and failures at other clubs are irrelevant because the situations are different. Luckiest man in football.Moyes - relegated 2017, appointed manager of PL West Ham 2017 ....
Luckiest man in football.

Forgive me...but your complete support doesn't seem to be very evident.
From some perspectives, this could look like a disappointing appointment. I think, though, that it could actually be the first time that we'll have appointed someone who is suited to working the way KLD wants the club to work. You make a good point and I'm trying - just disappointed atm

My other thought, which I may get pelters for, is I wonder what success looks like for Kristjaan Speakman.
Does he want to be the guy that got Sunderland back to the Premier League. Or does he want to be the guy that is remembered in the wider footballing world for developing players like Jude Bellingham.
His head coach appointments seem to point towards developing players not achieving results. Even Mowbray it was all about how he develops young players.
I know the strategy is to develop players and its one I applaud and like. I just wonder if the end goal really is Premier League (for Speakman that is, I'm sure it is for KLD)

Per Chris Weatherspoon. Being canny thick here but dont understand the 10 game rolling average part? I assume the bottom line is games played so is not just based on per game? Surely if it based per game Lorient couldnt have had worse XG then their opponents every game under him.
