But is KS’s setup all that different to other clubs (not all obv.)? Plenty have a head coach/DoF model. What specifically is so **** about our model that has seen 2 coaches walk and another 4(?) turn us down?
The people involved and the approach being taken maybe, rather than the actual set up.

Had a customer here in LA that said his family in Israel told him Robbie Keane is coming to Sunderland......total madness that this is now going worldwide.....couldn't make this stuff up right? Next it will be the White House issuing a statement who's going to get the job. I just want somebody appointed so we can get on planning for getting into the Premier League.....onward and upwards.

To be fair mate, Robbie Keane was coming here every transfer window throughout the 00s, so they may not be far off.

Think this whole process seems to be taking its toll on fans, it certainly has on me. We are a massive club. QPR to Sunderland is a huge step up. Not even up for debate. This whole process has been an absolute joke, but we shouldn’t settle as being a lesser option for anyone.

It's all just talk. The reality is that we were level pegging last season with QPR, a head coach isn't going to care about stadium size or history. He's gonna want job security, a say in transfers, ability to bring in his people, a good salary, ambition shown by those above him.

Weirdly I think if it ends up being Cifuentes I’d be happier with that outcome than getting Rosenior or Jansen

Don't know much about him but seems like he's done a good job with QPR.

If it seems far fetched to anyone that we could snag him, according to Transfermarkt (for what it's worth) we were the 7th biggest spenders and QPR were bottom so you'd think a manager with ambition would see it as a step up.

We've invested loads more in our playing squad recently than QPR if people want to talk about 'ambition' (eurgh), we've a squad of technical players that are more suited to his style than QPR. Most of the reason we were 'level pegging' with them last season is because they had him and we didn't.

I've just come in so it may have already been mentioned but Parker 5/4 favourite for the Burnley job, Rosenior down to 4/1. If Parker gets it does Rosenior come crawling back to us?
